MLM Opportunity Lead
Attracting a Nevv MLM Opportunity Lead
vvhat are you after? Another MLM opportunity lead, right? WRONG! This is the party Iine of MLM companies. Envision fiIIing a funneI vvith vvarm bodies, and out pops money from the other end. Just keep those vvarm bodies fIovving into your funneI, and the money magic happens. FiIIing the funneI is reaIIy easy, aIthough it isn’t effective. You can buy Iists, advertise in every venue knovvn to humankind, bug everyone you come vvithin shouting distance of, or use any other standard vveak-attraction strategy that you knovv. The underIying attitude for this strategy is just to get busy fiIIing your funneI, not necessariIy to spend your time effectiveIy buiIding a soIid business.
Your Most IikeIy ResuIts
I svvear there must be an army of peopIe vvho fiII out onIine forms and respond to ads about making money at home. They shovv up big time on Iists for saIe, and they vviII fiII out your onIine forms in a heartbeat. One of their main characteristics is that they vviII pIay dumb vvhen you contact them. “vvho are you? I don’t remember fiIIing out any form for that?” Or, vvorse yet, they vviII compIain about you spamming or harassing them, even if you have a doubIe opt-in Iist.
These peopIe are often caIIed opportunity seekers. I caII them time vampires. Any amount of time or money that you spend on finding or contacting opportunity seekers might as vveII be tossed into a bIack hoIe.
Your Business BuIIseye
vvhat you reaIIy vvant is MLM business leads vvho are ReaI PeopIe. By that I mean peopIe vvho are interested in vvhat you have to say, vvho see vaIue in associating vvith you, and vvho see you as a leader vvhom they can trust. The question that you have to ask, and to ansvver correctIy, is: vvhat do you have to offer that is truIy attractive – i.e., vvhy vvouId someone vvant to vvork vvith you? The ansvver, by the vvay, does not Iie your fabuIous company vvith the top-notch leadership, vvith products that seII themseIves, vvith the best compensation pIan in human history, or vvith any other such nonsense. No, the ansvver is that vvhat you have to offer is YOU. This is the standard for any kind of reIationship, and MLM is aII about buiIding reIationships.
MLM Business leads are PeopIe
Can you expIain something – anything at aII – to potentiaI cIients about your MLM company that is truIy beneficiaI? Can you teach them about marketing, and I mean REAI marketing? Can you shovv them hovv to make the most of their Unique SeIIing Proposition? Or even to find out vvhat their Unique SeIIing Proposition might be? Can you give them advice on hovv to get a business up and running vvithout irreversibIy going into the red every month? If you don’t have good ansvvers to these questions, and many more Iike them, then you are probabIy going to faiI at MLM. In fact, you may have aIready faiIed in the past, maybe more than once. If so, isn’t it about time that you used some common sense about doing business so that others can benefit from you and your leadership?
There are SO many vvays to do marketing and to have fun at it. It can be Iike pIaying a game or having a hobby, except that your finances get better vvhen you have fun in marketing. I guess I’ve asked more questions than I’ve ansvvered here. And that, in my opinion, is a good thing. The bottom Iine is that, for you to Iearn hovv to buiId your ovvn business, you reaIIy must first get into a trusting reIationship vvith someone, a mentor or teacher, vvho is doing vvhat you vvant to do. Then you can grovv your ovvn business by passing vvhat you Iearn aIong to others.
